Whilst we would really like all our students to wear the school uniform, we are very aware that some may find this difficult due to their sensory, physical or learning needs. We will work with the young people and their parents/carers to address the support we can provide for each individual. Should students with mobility needs prefer to wear smart tracksuit or jogging trousers, please try to follow the colour guidance given. If specialists have provided footwear for the students to wear, please make sure the school are informed as to the length of time and when this should happen. | |
Sixth Form aged pupils (school years 12 to 13, ages 16 to 19) | PE KIT & SWIMMING (all pupils) |
Students in the Sixth Form are allowed to wear their own non-uniform clothing as long as it is safe, appropriate for the activities and does not offend others. | PE – T-shirt (navy, sky blue or white) & shorts (navy, dark grey or black) or tracksuit (navy or black) and trainers / plimsolls. Swimming – swimsuit or trunks, towels and toiletries for showering. Please note – bikinis are not appropriate for swimming lessons. |
SUPPLIERS: Identity, Barrow-in-Furness and Tesco online.
Our main suppliers are Identity and Tesco online, but in times of economic hardship we recognise that you may wish to purchase cheaper supermarket clothing, but would ask that this complies with our school colours above. It is possible for local businesses to embroider with a logo at a small additional cost, but we are not in a position to recommend these to you.
